Hi, my name is Evita Wong, aka Mashumaro. 

I am author of the book "Mashumaro x Pitachan Christmas Advent Calendar", amigurumi designer and a freehand crochet artist.  

My obsession for crafting has started since I was a kid. I always have love in soft plushies and Japanese culture especially in Chibi style (Chubby head + mini body!)! <3 <3 <3

In 2016, I was introduced to Amigurumi and I instantly fell in love. With just a hook, some yarns and polyfiber fill, I was able to create nearly anything that comes into my mind without drafting or using any written patterns. My creations were beloved by my family and friends.

In 2017, I started selling my one of a kind creations on Ebay and made my first sale within a week of posting.  Soon I moved onto Etsy and started my little shop "Made By Mashumaro".  I want to spread love through the plushies I create, as everyone deserves a one-of-a-kind plushie that they will cherish forever.

What is Mashumaro?

Mashumaro - translates to marshmallow from the word "マシュマロ" in Japanese. I chose this name "Mashumaro" because my amigurumi creations are so soft and fluffy, like marshmallows.  I LOVE eating marshmallows and I use the name "Mashumaro" for gaming as well.
